1. Who is responsible for your data
Breakpoint is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us at hello@breakpoint.pro, by telephone at +383 44 598 178, or at Vëllezërit Gërvalla, 10000 Prishtinë, Republic of Kosovo.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- contact and identity details, such as your name, company, email address, and phone number;
- enquiry details, including the service, budget range, project description, and correspondence you send us;
- technical and security data routinely sent by your browser or recorded by our hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, device/browser type, request time, and diagnostic logs; and
- business and contract information if we enter into a professional relationship with you.
Please do not send sensitive personal data through the enquiry form unless we specifically request it.
3. Why and on what basis we use data
We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis under Kosovo Law No. 06/L-082 on Protection of Personal Data:
- to respond to enquiries and take steps you request before entering a contract;
- to perform and manage a contract with you or your organisation;
- to meet legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations;
- for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and defending our website and business, where those interests do not override your rights; and
- with your consent where consent is legally required, including for optional direct marketing.
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We do not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Our hosting or security providers may use strictly necessary technologies or process technical logs to deliver and protect the site. If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will provide clear information and request consent where required before using them.
5. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose it only as necessary to authorised staff, professional advisers, hosting and IT providers, other suppliers acting under appropriate safeguards, public authorities where the law requires it, or parties involved in a business reorganisation. We require service providers to protect the data and use it only for the agreed purpose.
Some providers may process data outside Kosovo. Where a transfer requires protection under Kosovo law, we use an applicable adequacy basis, Agency authorisation, contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
6. How long we keep data
We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless a contract begins or a longer period is needed for a legal claim. Contract, invoicing, and tax records are kept for the period required by applicable law and limitation rules. Security logs are generally kept for a shorter period appropriate to detecting and investigating incidents. We then delete or anonymise data securely.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we process your data and provide access to it;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erase data or restrict its processing;
- provide eligible data in a portable format;
- stop processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing; or
- explain and challenge a decision based solely on automated processing that has significant effects.
To exercise a right, email hello@breakpoint.pro. We may need to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with Kosovo’s Information and Privacy Agency through its official website at aip.rks-gov.net, or seek a judicial remedy where available.
8. Security, children, and changes
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, but no internet transmission is completely secure. Our services are directed to organisations and adults; we do not knowingly collect data from children through this website.
We may update this policy when our practices or legal duties change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate. See also our Terms and Conditions.
